Paneer Pasinda


Ingredients


  • 150 gms. paneer
  • 1 medium size potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 1 medium size carrot boiled
  • 1 onion chopped fine and 1onion paste
  • ½ " piece ginger
  • 3 piece garlic
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 tomatoes chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp. coriander leaves chopped
  • ½ tsp roasted kasoori methi
  • 1 tbsp. khuskhus (poppyseeds) paste
  • 1 tbsp kaju and kishmis paste
  • 1 tbsp maida
  • 2 tbsp. curd
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp. red chilli powder
    • 1" cinnamon and 1 piece each clove, cardamom
    • 1 tbsp each turmeric, cumin and dhania powder
    • ½ cup of mustard oil
    • salt and sugar to taste.
    • Directions

      1. Cut the paneer into 2" triangular shape and 1/2" thickness (08 pieces)
      2. Smash boiled potato, carrot and mix them with little salt. Fry it in oil.
      3. Put this mixture between two pieces of triangular shaped paneer (like sandwich) and seal the side by maida paste.Fry it in oil.
      4. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, garam masala, chopped onion and tomato. Fry them till brown.
      5. Add ginger, green chilli, garlic paste, turmeric, cumin, red chilli and dhania powder. Roast till oil separates.
      6. Add curd, kaju-kishmis , poppy seed paste and little water. Add salt and sugar for taste.
      7. Add previously fried paneer. Cook for 5 minutes.
      8. Add kasoori methi and coriander leaves.
      9. Serve hot with roti or paratha.
